HaemSTAR has recently formed a haemoglobinopathy interest group to bring together individuals interested in designing, promoting and engaging in audit and research in this field. The main aim of the group is to lead high quality research that can impact haemoglobinopathy patients’ management.
Current Projects
National Audit: Vascular Access in Sickle Cell Disease
Our ongoing project involves designing a national audit focused on vascular access for sickle cell disease patients. This initiative aims to enhance sickle cell patients’ care and outcomes.
