HaemSTAR International Fellowship

HaemSTAR have been granted funding from the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) to develop international collaborations. Our aim is to support early career haematologists in another part of the world in their research, and to assist in establishing a trainee-led research network similar to HaemSTAR.

A partnership with the Nigerian Society for Haematology and Blood Transfusion (NSHBT) has been formed, and two Fellows appointed. We are delighted to introduce them here and look forward to an exciting and productive collaboration.

My lifelong desire to be a Haematologist led me to pursue a residency program at both the National Postgraduate Medical College & West African College of Physicians, and I was successful in the Part one examination for both colleges.

As the pioneer resident in my department, my goal is to inspire my fellow residents and students to achieve success using a research-based approach.

Am happily married, and blessed with two children.
